Percentage of Work Finished

After Finishing all my Psychological shots concerning Caden's inner mind. I am at 60 %. I plan on being 80 - 90 percent upon returning from spring break.

I just need to do the animate caden cleaning up the room twice and Caden and Dominic facing up with Caden walking away. That shouldn't take too long because I have pre-made walk cycles for both Caden and Dominic, so I'm expecting faster progress then I've been putting out because of the assets I've been building as I've moved forward.

Goals for Next Tuesday

For next class I plan to finish another 3 to 4 shots like last week. So by next week I'll should be around 60 percent done with my animation. I also will have my demo reel cut tighter, and the revisions on my cover letter.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

RTT is the leading provider of realtime 3D visualization solutions for product design, marketing and sales. RTT USA is based in Pasadena, California and Royal Oak, Michigan with its holding company RTT AG in Munich (Germany). We operate internationally and are primarily focused on the automotive industry.

To support our fast growing 3D print and Content Creation Department in Royal Oak, Michigan we are looking for 3D Artists. We are searching for colleagues that are team-oriented and self-motivated.

The positions are for 3 months with a possibility of fulltime employment with benefits thereafter.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors of Fine Arts
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in CGI
• Assisting team members with CGI projects as timing requires.
• Provide technical insight to Producer as needed, such as suggesting more efficient methods of handling a certain task.
• Lighting, shading, modeling and compositing realistic objectives and environments in Maya or Max.
• Collaborate with fellow artists to create a visual style that will resonate with the target audience.
• Voice problems or concerns to Team Leads if missing materials.
• Maintain open and clear communication with Team Lead.
• Provide project status to Team Lead
• Proficient in Maya, Max, Mental Ray, Photoshop and After Effects / Nuke
• Must have ability to adapt to and work across multiple software systems, including but not limited to RTT’s DeltaGen
• Strong skills in lighting & illumination (HDRI)
• Shading, texturing and lighting
• 3D skills at a high level of accuracy and precision
• Good knowledge of shading and lighting techniques in 3D
• Excellent traditional art skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with clients and strong desire to excel
• Proven pro-active team player

These are the revisions to my room with the mess. This should be the solution to the my ongoing aesthetic problem.

Meeting with Gadsby

I had my meeting with Gadsby on Wednesday 3, and during that meeting we discussed my resume and the importance of a strong cover letter when applying for jobs or interns. We actually went over my most recent resume and discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the design and the overall aesthetic of the layout. After reviewing my resume, she gave me a lot of links and portals to job listings for animation entry level jobs. She also sent through to me in an email and list of jobs here in memphis that I could apply for. She said once I redesigned my resume she wanted to look at it. About the cover letter she said that the cover letter should be directly aimed toward the job, using some of the same words posted in the listing to increase it's effectiveness.
